Scared to love... you?

Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness, according to Holmes. Agree? How about if you’re scared… scared of love, scared of loving someone? Does it mean that you’re not giving yourself a chance to enter the gate of happiness and that you will be forever sad?
What if you don’t have any guts to court someone or don’t have guts to accept someone? What if, you’re afraid that the girl might ignore you or afraid because there might be lots of expectations?

Questions remain a question but here’s the thoughts going through your head as you’re falling in love

You push the hair out of my face,
And place your forehead on mine,
and you stare deep into my eyes,
And there is a pause in time.
You take my hand in yours,
And rub it with your thumb,
And when I try to say the words,
I find that I am dumb.

I want to tell you how I feel,
And have you tell me back,
But I can't get the words out,
As though it's confidence I lack,
But you know it could be certainty,
Maybe you're not the one for me,
So how come you're the only one,
Who makes me want to just be,

I love when you smile at me,
When you call me just to hear my voice,
When you tell me that I am beautiful,
So why am I unsure of my choice?

Could it be I'm scared to love you,
Scared to commit to just one,
Because it feels as though my heart is fighting,
Between loving you ands having fun!

Love Online

Love chatting? How about registering on different dating sites just to meet someone? How you ever imagine yourself having boyfriend/girlfriend online? Will the relationship grows? Let us all read the story of Megan, 28 years old.

I am a 28 yr old divorced female. Although, I have been divorced for 6 years, my dating life has been a nightmare. I was meeting guys in all types of ways, and have had a lot of heartache. I have often wondered if I was ever going to find anyone again. My past relationships have been both verbally & physically abusive. I had just about given up, when I was stumbling through the personal ads online, and came across an ad from a guy that lived 10 minutes away from me. His photo & ad caught my eye, so I decided to give him a try. After exchanging a few emails, he called me and we met and went out. I have come to find out, our fathers' have known each other for over 10 years, and we have been crossing paths for sometime now. He is the sweetest, most romantic guy I have ever known, from opening my car door, to bringing me roses. We are now inseparable. For anyone out there who is thinking about giving up on meeting their special someone... good things come to those who wait!

Yes, it’s really true. Don’t lose hope. Just learn to wait. As the saying goes. “The more you wait for someone, the better the person.”

A Place in BabyG's Heart

Heartbroken, after my first love left me, I thought that I would never be able to love anyone the same way ever again. Everything reminded me of him. I didn't want anyone to replace him cause he meant so much to me. So, i kept myself from everyone that tried to get into my life. I lived with an emptiness for years. I thought that I wouldn't be able to feel the same way for anyone ever again but...
i met a guy... through one of my distant friends. At first I didn't want anything to have to do anything with him cause I knew I would get hurt all over again if I did. But after a while i decided to give it a try. He seemed sincere about me. I fell in love again. I was scared at first cause I didn't want to be left heartbroken again. Soon enough we were always together. I cherished every second we were together. One day... he got in an accident. I was left a lone again. It was too much for me to handle. I fell in love again. It wasn't like anything that I've experienced before. I knew where I stood with him. Then... he got locked up. I didn't see any point in going on. But I knew I had to. But there was just something about him that I couldn't let go of. Then it hit my like a rock. He took something from me that no one ever had. My heart. No matter how anyone tells me that I have to move on I can't. No matter how much I want to and how much I try. He took away my most valuable possession. My love. Now I sit here alone. Staying up at remembering everything that we ever had. That emptiness in my heart can never be filled. And no matter what he'll always have a place in my heart.

MOMENTS IN LIFE

There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!

When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the
closed door that we don't see the one,
which has been opened for us.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.

Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything;
they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.

The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until
you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.

Please send this message to those people
who mean something to you (I JUST DID);
to those who have touched your life in one way or another;
to those who make you smile when you really need it;
to those who make you see the
brighter side of things when you are really down;
to those whose friendship you appreciate;
to those who are so meaningful in your life.

If you don't send it, don't worry,
nothing bad will happen to you;
you will just miss out on the opportunity
to brighten someone's day with this message!!!

Don't count the years-count the memories...........

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take;
but by the moments that take our breath away!

Is that love or obesession?

Simple Tip:
When we don't want to let our bf/gf go away despite of knowing that the feelings of love are not present anymore, this is an obsession and NOT love. Letting go the person who doesn't love you anymore means LOVE.

In case like this, all we have to do is to really let the beloved go away if the love is out of the relationship anymore. We can't reason it into staying. Remember that we can't bribe the love or even coerce it. When time will come that it chooses to leave, then we really have to let go. We should be glad that it came for a moment in our life. Anyway, when we keep our heart open, it will surely come again and all we have to do is to wait....

Listen to Love

Have you heard the song, “The Sound of Silence”? Hello darkness, my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again, because a vision softly creeping, left its seeds while I was sleeping… a song by Simon & Garfunkel. Familiar? Yes maybe. But many of us don’t know the real meaning of the song. Well, try to listen each word in the lyrics and it tells you to SPEAK OUT, not just to listen. You also need to communicate with everything else~ (whatever you think of!)

... and read this article!

Listening for Love
By Jayne Fisher

There are times when we are timid and shy about expressing the love we feel. For fear of embarrassing the other person, or ourselves, we hesitate to say the actual words ‘I love you’. So we try to communicate the idea in other words. We say ‘take care’ or ‘don’t drive too fast’ or ‘be good’.
But really, these are just other ways of saying ‘I love you’. ‘You are important to me’, ‘I care what happens to you, and ‘I don’t want you to get hurt’ all mean ‘I love you’. We are sometimes very strange people. The only thing we want to say, and the one thing that we should say, is the one thing we don’t say. And yet because the feeling is so real, and the need to say it is so strong, we are driven to use other words and signs to say what we really mean. And many times the meaning never gets communicated at all and the other person is left feeling unloved and unwanted.
Therefore, I believe we have to listen for love in the words that people are saying to us. Sometimes the explicit words are necessary, but more often, the manner of saying things is even more important. A joyous insult carries more affection and love within the sentiments, which are expressed insincerely. An impulsive hug says ‘I love you’ even though the words might be saying something very different.
Any expression of a person’s concern for another says ‘I love you’. Sometimes the expression is clumsy, sometimes even cruel. Sometimes we must look and listen very intently for the love that it contains.
We say ‘I love you’ in many ways - with birthday gifts, and little notes, with smiles and sometimes with tears. Sometimes we show our love by just keeping quiet and not saying a word, at other times by speaking out, even harshly. We show our love sometimes by impulsiveness.
Many times we have to show our love by forgiving someone who has not listened to the love we have tried to express. The problem is listening for love is that we don’t always understand the language of love, which the other person is using. A girl may use tears or emotions to say what she wants to say, and her boyfriend may not understand her because he expects her to be talking his language.
We have to force ourselves to really listen for love. The problem with our world is that people rarely listen to each other. They hear the words, but they don’t listen to the actions that accompany the words or the expression on the face. Or people listen only for rejection or misunderstanding. They do not see the love that is there just beneath the surface, even if the words are angry.
Simon and Garfunkel wrote that very haunting song, The Sound of Silence. It goes: Ten thousand people, maybe more. People talking without speaking; people hearing without listening; people writing songs that voices never shared, because no one dared disturb the sound of silence... It is a terrifying picture of our modern world, a world without communication and without love.
We have to listen for love in those around us. If we listen intently we will discover that we are a lot more loved than we realize.
Just listen!
