Lost Love, Lost Love Quotes

All of us are falling in love, and sometimes or most often we’re falling out of love or suffering in love. Love quotes will help you to express your deepest feelings and thoughts, during those times when words just refuse to flow out of you. Here are some:

Lost Love Quotes
  • The way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost. -G. K. Chesterton
  • It is better to have loved and lost than never to have lost at all. -Samuel Butler
  • The hottest love has the coldest end. -Socrates
  • I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived. -Margaret Mitchell
  • "You wondered how you’d make it through. I wondered what was wrong with you. Because how could you give your love to someone else, yet share your dreams with me? Sometimes the only thing you’re looking for, is the one thing you can’t see." - Vanessa Williams
  • "If you live to be 100, I want to live to be 100 minus one day, so I never have to live without you." - Winnie the Pooh
  • "Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go." - Herman Hesse
You may be facing difficulties in your relationship. You just had a big fight with your guy or girl, and you're at a loss of what to do. You just broke up with your loved one. You're thinking about whether to let him or her go and end the relationship. No matter what happens, just consider that life's like that. You just have to move forward and try to open your heart... it will surely come again.

**Because of the power the governme
nt gives lawyers and judges the ability to steal your stuff, and the power to make your mates life miserable should you choose to do so, being married is like living with a loaded gun sitting on the kitchen table. And once someone picks that gun up and points it at the other person, your marriage is over and your life is ruined. Because of the court system, marriage is bad for your relationship.**

First Love

By: John Clare

I ne'er was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet.
Her face it bloomed like a sweet flower
And stole my heart away complete.

My face turned pale, a deadly pale.
My legs refused to walk away,
And when she looked what could I ail
My life and all seemed turned to clay.

And then my blood rushed to my face
And took my eyesight quite away.
The trees and bushes round the place
Seemed midnight at noonday.

I could not see a single thing,
Words from my eyes did start.
They spoke as chords do from the string,
And blood burnt round my heart.

Are flowers the winter's choice
Is love's bed always snow
She seemed to hear my silent voice
Not love appeals to know.

I never saw so sweet a face
As that I stood before.
My heart has left its dwelling place
And can return no more.

Do Not Love Me Yet

Do not love me yet, for I
Am still a slender moon,
A scimitar about the heart
Too sharp to touch too soon.

Before I'm touched I need to grow
More full in golden light;
I need to smile upon my earth
And rule some patch of night.

I need to know what roads and fields
Lie in my domain
And dull my brand new ecstasies
With sophomoric pain.

I need the love of some blank boy
As cold and dark as me,
That we might grope in ignorance
And fear of what might be.

And then when I'm a silver bowl
And know what I can hold,
Then, then, perhaps, we could try love
If you are not too old.
